Adelia M. Pralle, 76, Beatrice, died Saturday morning, Dec. 18, 2004, at the Beatrice Community Hospital and Health Center. She was born July 9, 1928, at rural Odell, and attended country school. On Nov. 9, 1947, she married Raymond C. Pralle at Trinity Lutheran Church near Hanover, Kan. They lived in Marysville, Kan., and Hanover, where she was a waitress at the Jayhawk Café in Marysville, and the Pony Express Truck Stop, Hanover. In 1977, they moved to Beatrice. She was a direct caregiver at the Beatrice State Developmental Center for more than 17 years, had worked as a kitchen aide at the Martin Luther Home for several years and spent six years as a foster grandparent at BSDC. She was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church, Beatrice, and a former member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Hanover, Kan., where she belonged to the Lutheran Women's Missionary League. She enjoyed embroidery work, doing word puzzles and reading.

Survivors: husband, Raymond; sons, Allen Pralle and wife Ruth of Hanover, Kan,. Larry Pralle and wife Kathy of Bremen, Kan., Steve Pralle and wife Michelle of Randolph, Kan., Rick Pralle and wife Ellen of Bremen, Kan.; 13 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; sisters, Laura Frerking and Olinda Adam, both of Beatrice; brother, Elmer Stolte and wife Helen of Greeley, Colo.; sister-in-law, Viola Stolte of Linn, Kan.; nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ernst and Theresa (Niemann) Stolte; brothers, Henry, Clarence, Ernst Jr., and Edwin Stolte; and a sister, Esther Riggert.

Funeral: 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 21, St. Paul Lutheran Church, 10th and High streets, Beatrice, Pastor Douglas D. Irmer and Pastor Timothy W. Wagner officiating. Family prayer service: 10:15 a.m. Tuesday, fellowship room of the church. Burial: Evergreen Home Cemetery, Beatrice. Memorials to the family's choice with Fox Funeral Home, Beatrice, in charge. The body will lie in state at the funeral home, 19th and Garfield streets, until 9 p.m. Monday night, and then one hour preceding the service at the church on Tuesday.
