HELEN M. RUMBAUGH, 90, died at 7:20 p.m. Sept. 4, 2006, at Richland Manor Nursing Home, Bluffton.
She was born May 27, 1916, in Auglaize County to Albert "Bert" and Hortense Shaw Bowsher, who preceded her in death. On July 1, 1934, she married Milo D. "Mike" Rumbaugh, who survives.
Mrs. Rumbaugh was a homemaker and had been a cook in the cafeteria for Perry Schools. She was a member of Perry United Methodist Church. She had been a member of the Perry Center Grange. She was active in the Perry community and school activities.
Survivors also include two daughters, Diane (Rick) Dick of Lima and Carole (Patrick) Connor of Harrod; 12 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; and 16 great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Serelda Sue Welker; two brothers, Dallas and Donald Bowsher; and five sisters, Pauline Lowe, Gwendolyn Bowersock, Clementine Rousculp, Mary Rafferty and Treva Cotner.
Services will begin at 10:30 a.m. Friday at Perry United Methodist Church. Pastor Kim Kiracofe will officiate. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery, Lima.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Bayliff & Son Funeral Home, Cridersville, and one hour prior to services Friday at the church.
Memorial contributions may be made to Perry United Methodist Church.
