She married Roseberry Perkins on Jan 1, 1857 in Daviess County. She was his second wife. She had one step-daughter, Emily, from her husband's first marriage. According to the 1900 census, she had 10 children born and 5 living. On the the 1910 census, she had 10 children born and 4 living. However, only five of these children lived to appear on census records. These are Joanna (Joan), born c.1858, Jemima, born c.1860, John O, William T, and Francis M, born c. 1869. On the 1900 census, Joanna was a widow with two children and was living with her parents. Her married name was Fisher. All the other children had left home by the 1900 census, and with the exception of John O and William T, the submitter has had difficulty tracing them and does not know their burial locations. However, they had all died by January 1946, when William T died, since according to his obituary he was the last surviving member of he immediate family.
She and Roseberry seem to have lived in Barr Township for all of their married life, since this is where they were living on every census. On the 1910 census, she was living next to or very near her son William T and his family, since his family was marked as residence #270 and household # 274, while she was residence #271 and household #275.
Her grave is not in Daviess County cemetery records. However, there is a small notice of her death in "The Martin County Tribune" on October 24, 1913, which gives her burial location as Osbourne Cemetery. Since there is no cemetery by this name in Daviess County, this is apparently a mishearing of Osmon Cemetery. Her burial in Osmon Cemetery is supported by the fact that her husband is also supposed to be buried there.
