OBITUARY :
ELMA L. HORN, 88, of Chambersburg, died on Tuesday, December 06, 2011 in Menno Haven. Born on February 28, 1923 in Mowersville, PA, she was a daughter of the late Henry Scott Unger and Belle Henry Unger. She was the widow of Erdman Horn, who preceded her in death in 1989.

She was a member of St. Paul United Methodist Church in Chambersburg. A homemaker, she also worked in retail at the former Eyerly's and Montgomery Ward department stores in Chambersburg years ago.

She is survived by one son, David E. Horn (and wife, Lorie); one granddaughter, Kimberly Dull; three great grandchildren, Kayla, Tiffany and Donnie Dull, two step-grandchildren, Shannon and Adam Jackson, all of Eldersburg, MD; her sister, Sarah Laubs of St. Thomas, PA; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Aside from her husband, she was preceded in death by 5 brothers and 5 sisters.

Funeral services will be held at 1:30 PM on Friday, December 9, 2011, in the chapel of the Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home, 333 Falling Spring Road, Chambersburg, with viewing one hour prior to the service. Rev. Rick Noll will officiate.

Interment will follow in Norland Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association 3544 N. Progress Ave. Harrisburg, PA 17110.
