Nelson "POP" Kincheloe, Jr. passed away at his residence in Mineral, VA on Monday, December 5th.

He had served his country in the US Army; veteran of World War II with the 11th Airborne Division. He was a member of Forest Hill Baptist Church and was a farmer.

"Pop" was the son of the late William N. and Martha W. Kincheloe and husband of the late Doris Jean Kincheloe. He was also preceded in death by a brother Leo, daughter-in-law Jeannie Kincheloe and his aunt, Hazel Poteet.

Survivors include his sons Kenny Kincheloe, Willie Kincheloe and his wife Shirley; a daughter, Diane Wolfe and her husband, Tim; eight grandchildren and seventeen great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00pm on Sunday, December 11, 2011 at Woodward Funeral Home; where a funeral will be held 9:30 am Monday, December 12, 2011; officiated by Pastor Kenny Kincheloe and Pastor Steve McClary. Burial will follow in Quantico National Cemetery; Quantico, VA.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made in "Pop's" name to Forest Hill Baptist Church; 4409 S. Spotswood Trail Louisa, VA 23093.
