Dr Leonora Beck died on Sunday at 718 Roscoe st. She was 61 years old. She was one of the orginal and most active members of the Chicago Single tax club and taught for many years in the Chicago public schools. Untill recently she taught at the Cregier school. She was also a doctor of medicine and osteopathy. She was born in Putnam co IL and is survived by one sister, Mrs S.A. Merritt of Los Angeles CA, and three brothers William E Beck of Oakland CA, Harry Beck of Salt Lake City Utah, and Marshall Beck of Moline IL. She has been a resident of this city since the year 1880.
