Rosemary Ethington Duvall, 85, of Carrollton, died Thursday at Baptist Hospital East, Louisville. She was a former home economics teacher and manager of Gypsy Grill, Carrollton. She also was a member of First Baptist Church, Carrollton; the Daughters of the American Revolution; the Carrollton Women's Club; the Port William Historical Society and the Money Line Investment Club. Her husband, Josiah Slocum Duvall, died in 1971.
Survivors include nieces, Joan Cleveland of Louisville and Nora McCarty of Frankfort; and several great-nieces and great-nephews.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at First Baptist Church, Carrollton. Visitation will be from 5 to 9 tonight at Tandy-Eckler-Riley Funeral Home, Carrollton, and from 1 p.m. Saturday at the church. Burial will be in IOOF Cemetery, Carrollton. Memorials are suggested to First Baptist Church, 401 Highland Ave., Carrollton, Ky. 41008.
