She was buried in Bet Olam (Warrensville) Cemetery, Beachwood, Ohio. Her parents were born in Austria and immigrated to the U.S. in 1897. Her father was a realtor. She was the stepdaughter of Rose Engelberg (nee Lieberman).
Her husband David J. Stein died July 2, 1969 age 58 at Cleveland Clinic Hospital, Cleveland and was buried in Park Synagogue Cemetery, Cleveland, Ohio.
