Anna Irene Raymond was born in Monmouth, Crawford Co., Kansas on Feb 10, 1891. She moved with her folks to Havana, Kansas in or around 1905. Her father ran a grocery store, and/or a restaurant there. She attended Havana and Montgomery Co. Schools and there she met her future husband Thomas E. Kelso. They married July 3rd 1910.
The couple had 2 children: Doris Blendena & Thomas Ernest.
After her 2nd child was born Anna became ill, unable to care for her youngest child without the help of family or a nurse.
Striken with pernicious anemia, and possibly a heart problem she died July 28, 1930 in Coffeyville, Ks. Her husband Thomas never remarried.
