Laid To Rest
All that was mortal of Mr. J.M. Lynch was met by a large concourse of sorrowing friends and relatives when they arrived at the S.A. & A.P. depot about 4:00 o'clock Monday afternoon, where the procession was formed and moved to the Odd Fellows cemetery, where interment was made, Rev. Gaston Hartsfield pastor of the M. E. church conducting the funeral services.
Upon the newly made mound a profusion of beautiful flowers were laid by loving hands desiring to pay tribute to one whom they held in high esteem.
Deceased leaves two sons, Messrs, J.C. Lynch of Mexico and George Nixon Lynch and Mrs. Ethel Peterson of Crystal City, Texas and three smaller children.
The pallbearers were Messrs, W. W. Johnson, John Rainey, R.S. Chambers, W. H. Clark, W. P. Midkiff and D. U. Ramsay.
The Inquirer extends deep sympathy to the bereaved family in the loss of one held so dear to them.

J. M. Lynch Dead
The remains of Mr. J. M. Lynch, who died Sunday afternoon at Monteale, Texas, from the effects of a gunshot wound, will arrive in this city today at 4 o'clock p.m. over the San Antonio and Aransas Pass railway, and interment had in the Odd Felliws Cemetery, Rev. Gaston Hartsfield conducting the services at the grave.
Mr. Lynch was well known in this city, his wife being sister of Hon. Robt. F. Nixon. Mrs. Lynch here at the residence of Mr. Nixon about three years ago, and is also buried in the Odd Fellows Cemetery. The remains of the husband will be laid beside that of his wife this afternoon. Mr. Lynch was one of the leading and most influential citizens of Ber county and his untimely death is sincerely mourned.
The pall bearers will be: W. W. Johnston, John Rainey, R.S. Chambers, W. H. Clark, W.P. Midkiff, and D.V. Ramsey.
