Walter leaves to mourn his passing and is survived by his parents August W. Mueller and Elizabeth Mueller. He is also survived by his siblings and nieces and nephews as well as a host of family and friends. Walter served his country in the US Army. He and a group of friends from Cypress were in the same unit when the US invaded Guadacanal in the Solomon Islands to re-take it from the Japanese during WWII. He was killed by a Japanese sniper. He was a true American hero. He gave his all in battle. He is loved and missed by all of his descendants. We are proud of you. Rest in the arms of Jesus.
