James Leo Brisco, age 66 of Vinita, died Sunday, December 4, 2011. James was born in Ada, OK on June 4, 1945 the son of Lowell and Leona (Cape) Brisco. In 1963 he graduated from Central High School. He served in the United States Air Force from 1963-1964 in the Presidential Honor Guard. His hobbies include watching NASCAR and OU Football, fishing, loving dogs, playing on computers, and most of all spending time with his family.

Survivors include his wife Carol Brisco of the home, children Steven Brisco and wife Shonda of Stillwater, Julie Wilson of Tulsa, Regina Glenn of Tulsa, and Elizabeth Ross and husband Jeffery also of Tulsa, sisters Sue Pendleton and husband Jim of Tulsa, and Darlene Chew and husband Hans of Dewey, six grandchildren: Garrett Brisco, Tara Gardner, Gareth Ross, Gavin Ross, Nathaniel Konemann, and Nachel Konemann, and two great granddaughters Adrianna and Serenity Gardner. He is preceded in death by his parents and sister Debra Snodgrass.

Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, December 7, 2011 at the Vinita Church of God with pastors Jamie Pendleton and Eddie Wrinkle officiating. Interment will follow at Timpson Chapel Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Luginbuel Funeral Home.
