Mrs. Ola Watson Ivey, 80, wife of the late Forrest Pate Ivey, Route 2, Whiteoak Road, Thomson, Georgia, entered into rest Tuesday, November 20, 1979, at McDuffie County hospital. Graveside services will be conducted at 4 p.m. Wednesday at Westview Cemetery with the Rev. John Smith and Dr. Jack Lamb officiating. Pallbearers will be Robert N. Wilson, Stewart Wilson, Gordon Wilson, J.E. Wilson III, Glen Wilson, Edgar S. Wilson, John W. Wilson Jr., Jack W. Garrett, Robert Watson, James Watson, Forrest Watson, Michael Joesbury, David Joesbury, Edward W. Clary, Christopher Moore, Jeffery Gammons, Stephen Gammons, Phillip Gammons, John Kieser, Spruce Nichols, Lee Nichols and Paul Watson. Mrs. Ivey was a native and lifelong resident of McDuffie County. She was owner and operator of Ginger Farms and a member of White Oak United Methodist Church. Survivors include three sisters, Mrs. J.E. Wilson Sr., Mrs. Mary W. Garrett and Mrs. Mildred W. Rivers, Thomson. Curtis Funeral Home.
