MRS. MATH BANK DIES SUDDENLY. Mrs. Math Bank of Rio Creek Passes Away, Death a Great Shock to Her Many Friends..
The death of Mrs. Math Bank of Rio Creek which occurred at Green Bay on Thursday last, came as a severe shock to the residents of that tow and the many friends of the family hereabouts. Mrs. Bak had been a sufferer from gall-bladder trouble for nearly a year and a operation had been advised last fall by physicians who were consulted at the time, but she decided to put it off until spring. On Tuesday she gave birth to a little daughter. She was taken to Green Bay immediately afterward but was too weak to withstand an operation and died Thursday morning. The remains were brought home Friday and the funeral was held Saturday morning from the Lincoln Catholic church. Mrs. Banks, who maiden name was NOR LAURENT, was the beloved wife of Math Bank, manager of the Builders Veneer Company of Rio Creek. She was a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Lauren, Sr. of Rio Creek and was born August 8, 1889. Her marriage occurred on Nov. 21. 1900. She is survived by her husband and seven children, Mary, John, Eli, Math, Madeline, Myrtle and Nore, the one day old babe at the time of the mothers death. Besides these there are left to mourn her parents are five brothers and three sisters; Eli, John, Jos. Jr., of Rio Creek, Victor of this city, Fabian of Maple Park, Ill., Mrs. John (Mary) Barrett and Mrs. Isadore (Mamie) Thayse) of Rio Creek and Mrs. Emil Malford of Lincoln. All were present at the funders, the five brothers and Mr. John Buhrick acting as pall bearers.
