A funeral service for Mrs. Mary Elizabeth Helmick Bennett, 78, who died Tuesday at her home, were held Wednesday at Cabins, W.Va.
Burial was in Whitmer Cemetery, Whitmer.
Mrs. Bennett was born March 30, 1870 at Simoda, W.Va. and married H.B. Bennett June 21, 1901.
Besides her husband, she is survived by the following children: Jonah Buckbee, Tampa, Fla., Mrs. Bertha Hedrick, Elkins, Mrs. Maudie Mowery, Harman, Evers Bennett, City Point, Fla., Lee Bennett, Shallmar, Md. and Mrs. Edith Hall, Warren, Ohio, 43 grandchildren and 47 great-grandchildren.
