Clarence Clyde Luse, 76, a 22-year resident of Vista, died Wednesday at a local convalescent home.
A carpenter, Luse made his home at 779 Lemon Ave. He was born May 23, 1892, in Moville, Iowa. Luse was a member of Vista Community Church.
Survivors include his widow, Delma, of the home address; a son, Clyde Jr. of Vista; two daughters Claire Singleton of Baltimore, Md. and Ferne Yule of Lakeside; four sisters, Ethel Alcombe of North Hollywood, Clara Weldon of Sioux City, Iowa, Gladys Hazan of Des Moines, Iowa, and Jessie Metcalf of Fort Dodge, Iowa; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. tomorrow at Vista Chapel Mortuary. Dr. Graeme C. Smith, pastor of Vista Community Church, will officiate. Burial is scheduled to follow at Eternal Hills Cemetery.
The family has requested that donations be made in the name of the deceased to the cancer fund, in lieu of flowers.
