Funeral services for Clella Corrine Osborn, 77 of Brashear will be held Tuesday September 16, 1980 at 2 o'clock at the Hudson-Rimer Park View Chapel, Kirksville. The Rev. Beryl CRagg and the Rev. Darrell Draper, both of Brashear will conduct the services. Burial will be in Park View Memorial Gardens, Kirksville.
Mrs. Osborn died Saturday morning September 13, 1980 at 7:25 in a Kirksville hospital.
Born at Callao on March 20, 1903, she was the daughter of Rufus and Sara Prickett Coffman. On May 22, 1921 in Macon County she was married to Charles Lloyd Osborn who survives. Also surviving are four sons, Lloyd O. "Buck" Osborn of Pineville, Louisiana, Sidney Osborn and Lonie Osborn, both of Brashear and Ronnie Osborn of Excelsior Springs; two daughters, Mrs. Harold (Delores) Aaron of Gary, Indiana and Mrs. Jack A. (Illa) Lay of Dayton, Ohio; two brothers, Raymond Coffman of Kirksville and Willard Coffman of Callao; two sisters, Bula McQuay of Aurora and Nora Barnett of Reno, Nevada; 17 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by an infant daughter in 1942; two grandsons, Gary Stephen and Robert Bruce Osborn and three brothers, Johnny Coffman, Walter Coffman and Calvin Coffman.
After their marriage, Mr. and Mrs. Osborn resided in Callao until 1939 when they moved to Gary, Indiana. In 1944 they moved to Adair County and had resided in Brashear since 1950. Mrs. Osborn had been employed at NMSU and Holiday Inn at Kirksville.
She was a member of the Valley Chapel Church of God (Holiness) at Macon.
Bearers will be her grandsons: Dwain Aaron, Alan Osborn, Harold Aaron, Denny Aaron, Jeff Osborn and Steve McKim.
