Funeral services for Walter M. Ritter, 87, are scheduled for 2 p.m. Wednesday in the United Pentecostal Church of Huntington, with the Rev. A. C. Hoke officiating. Interment will be in the Huntington Cemetery.
Mr. Ritter of Huntington died in a local hospital Monday evening. He was born on Oct. 4, 1876 in Panola County and had resided in Angelina County for the past 45 years. Mr. Ritter was a retired farmer and a member of the United Pentecostal Church.
Survivors include 2 step-daughters: Mrs. Jewel Arnwine and Mrs. Bessie Mosley; step-son, Lawrence Coulter; several nieces and nephews, including Tex Ritter, Motion Picture Star of Los Angeles, California.
