Born October 25, 1928 in Muhlenberg County he was a retired Conductor for P & L Railroad. He was a member of Willow Glenn Church of Christ and was a veteran of the U.S. Army serving in the Korean War.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Margaret Bailey.
He is survived by his sons, Marvin Joel (Virginia) Bailey, and Kevin Dane (Tina) Bailey; a daughter, Cheryl Renee' (Joe) Rich; grandchildren, Joseph Adam Bailey, Jonathan Ross (Christina) Bailey, Kristopher Kevin (Angel) Bailey, Amberly Brooke Bailey, Kassandra Beth Rich, Justin Clay Rich; great grandchild, Michael Joel Bailey; brothers, Sameull Bailey, Larry Bailey, Sherman Ray Bailey, Aubrey Baily, Jr.; sister, Gennie Lee Vincent.
Funeral services will be held Monday, December 5, 2011 at 11:00am at Tucker Funeral Home in Central City with Mr. Jimmy Jenkins officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be held Sunday after 5:00pm at the funeral home.
