William Wigger, 67, Dies at Hospital
William Adolph Wigger, 67, a lifelong resident of Granite City, died at 9:08 a.m. Saturday at St. Elizabeth Hosppital. He had been ill nine years and was hospitalized one day.
Mr. Wigger who was born in Granite City, resided at 1717 Demar Ave. He was a retired salesman for the T. C. Tobacco Co and formerly owned and operated the Coney Island Restaurant here.
He was a member of the Royal Neighbors and Niedringhaus United Methodist Church.
Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Doris Wigger; one daughter, Mrs. George (Dolores) Voegler of Granite City, one sister, Mrs. George (Gertrude) Schnyder of Troy, Ill; and three grandchildren.
Funeral arrangements are given in today's obituary column.
