Dorothy Stevenson Calentine, age 91, of Joplin, passed away at a local health care center at 3:40 p.m. Friday, Feb. 23, 2007, after an illness.

Born Sept. 11, 1915, in Richard, Mo., she was the daughter of the late Wilburn Wayne Reynolds and Nellie Gertrude Potts Reynolds and lived in Joplin most of her lifetime. She was a homemaker.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Walter J. Stevenson on April 19, 1950; her second husband, Clyde W. Calentine on July 17, 1987; and her son, Vance Robert Stevenson in 1994.

Survivors include a son, Vic Calentine and wife, Patricia, of Crystal River, Fla.; her sister, Ruth Frisckhorn, of Springfield, Mo.; her daughter-in-law, Marilyn Stevenson, of Belleville, Ill.; seven grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, Feb. 26, at Parker Chapel. Rev. Bob Simon officiating. Interment will follow in Ozark Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from noon Monday until the service time at the mortuary.
