Mary E. Lowney was born in Butte, Montana to Dennis Lowney and Catherine Wholey on 09 Jan 1888 and passed away on 29 Oct 1972 in Hamilton, Montana. It is reported that her spirit has appeared to the current home owners of where she passed away in Hamilton, Montana. Mary and Edwin "Bud" McCormick adopted a girl, "Mary Virginia" who we believe may have been a close family relative. We don't know what eventually became of Mary Virginia but we do know that she chose the path of nursing and may have ended up in Washington State where she most likely passed away.
