Jerry Lee Allman, Sr., of Sissonvlle, formerly of Elkview, went to be with his Lord, surrounded by his loving family on September 10, 2004.
He was a retired truck driver for Rite Aid Corporation and a Navy veteran. He was a member of the Salvation Army, where he was president of the Salvation Army Men's Club, Relief and Disaster volunteer and also van driver. He was an avid fisherman and hunter.
Jerry was preceded in death by his daughter Tammy S. (Allman) Jones, parents, Harry E. Allman and Theresa Allman, brothers, Allen Allman and Kenneth Allman, sister, Alice (Allman) Jennings, granddaughter Bianca Starr McGill and nephew Kenny Allman.
He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Isabelle A (Tucker) Allman; sons, Jerry L. (Phyllis) Allman, Dale R. Allman, and Richard L. Allman; daughters, Della A. (Allman) White, Teresa L. Allman and Kayla A. Allman; granddaughters, Melissa D. Cutlip, April M. Allman, Amanda R. (Allman) Clendenin, Brianna N. Allman, and Kaitlyn A. Allman, grandsons, James E. White, Jr., Dustin S.
