MULLEN-- Clare E. Weber, 84, died Tuesday at the nursing home in Mullen. He was born Feb 20, 1905, at Grand Rapids, Mich., to Solomon and Adeline Weber.
He worked for the national Broom Co. in California from 1930-1950. He then moved to Nebraska and worked as a meat inspector for the USDA and later worked on several Ranches in the Mullen Area
Mr. Weber was active in the Alliance Green Thumb Program after his Retirement
The last of six children, he was also preceded in death by his wife Bertha in 1975.
Survivors include several nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be Friday 2 p.m. MDT at the Cedarview Cemetery in Mullen with Norma Jensen officiating
A memorial has been established to the Cedarview Cemetery.
Visitation will be Friday 9 a.m. until service time, at the Mullen Funeral Home, which is in charge of arrangements
