DEATH CALLS BROTHER, SISTER IN TWO DAYS
Noah Alexander Dies Saturday Followed By Sister On Monday
Noah Alexander of Winterset and his sister, Mrs. Lena Allsup of Des Moines, died within two days of one another, last week end. Mr. Alexander died Saturday, July 14th at the age of 59 years while Mrs. Allsup died Monday, July 16, at the age of 56 years.

They were children of Henson and Rebecca Alexander, who have preceded them in death. Mr. Alexander was born in Ralls county, Missouri, June 12, 1875. When a youth he united with the Olive Baptist church and later transferred his membership to the Winterset Baptist church. He was never married, and made his home with his parents and brothers. His health had been failing for the past several months.

The Rev. F. W. Madsen conducted his funeral services at the Tidrick funeral home, Monday morning, July 16th, at 10 o'clock and burial was in the Winterset cemetery.

Mrs. Allsup had been in poor health for several years. She had resided in Des Moines, since her marriage to Lem Allsup, and they made their home at 409 E. Payton avenue. Her funeral services were held at the home, Tuesday afternoon, July 17th, and burial was made in the Elm
Grove cemetery. She leaves her husband and five children. The brother and sister are survived by four brothers and four sisters: Ira, Paul, Claude and Perry Alexander, and Mrs. Lucy Lee of Winterset, Mrs. Myrtle Harlow, etc.
