Father of Karen D, John & MichaelStanley 'Stosh' Affeldt of Tullytown passed away peacefully at Silver Lake Center in Bristol Township. He was 78.

Born and raised in Swoyersville, Pa., he was a Tullytown resident for more than 50 years.

Stosh was an employee of the former Patterson Parchment Co. and later retired from the Lower Bucks County Joint Municipal Authority.

He was a U.S. Army veteran who served in the Korean War and was a member of the V.F.W. Billington Post, the Moose Lodge 1169, and a former member of the Tullytown Volunteer Fire Co.

Stosh was preceded in death by his devoted wife of 50 years, Florence (Miskiel); his parents, Adam and Edna; and a grandson, Tyler.

He will be greatly missed by his children: Karen D. Schuler and her husband, David of Skillman, N.J., John of Tullytown, and Michael and his wife, Gina of Langhorne; his grandchildren: Bryan and Daniel Affeldt, and Stephen and Stephanie Schuler; his brother, Frank and his wife, Theresa of Plymouth Meeting, Pa.; his sister, Agnes Romonko of Towson, Md.; and numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to call on Sunday from 3 to 6 p.m. at the Galzerano Funeral Home, 430 Radcliffe St., Bristol Borough.

Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday at 10:30 a.m. at St. Ann Church in Bristol Borough. There will be no calling hours on Monday morning in the funeral home. Interment will follow in Tullytown Cemetery.

The family prefers memorial contributions in his name be made to St. Ann Church, 357 Dorrance St., Bristol PA 19007. Galzerano Funeral Home, Bristol.
