John Adams of Rudyard passed away April 26 in the Liberty County Hospital in Chester. Funeral services were held at the Holland & Bonine Funeral Chapel in Havre April 29. Pallbearers were Charles Lineweaver, Charles Adams, Victor Adams, Zane Adams, Roy Heimbigner and Don Cross. Internment was in the Highland cemetery in Havre.
Adams was born November 26, 1918 at Inverness to Charles and Axie Adams. He served in the armed forces during World War II from 1940 to 1945. He returned to the area and was a farm laborer until ill health forced him to quit work.
Survivors are sisters Mary Bright of Rudyard, Dorothy Sauer of Pinehurst, Idaho; brothers, James of Inverness and Emery of Pinehurst. He was preceded in death by his parents and three brothers, Carl, Gene and Donald.
