Loris - Esther Stevens Fowler, 74, of the Mount Zion community, died Wednesday, April 2, 1997, at McLeod Regional Medical Center in Florence after an illness.
She was born Nov. 21, 1922, in Loris, a daughter of the late Mayo and Quillie Loueffie Powell Stevens.
She was the widow of Luther Fowler.
Mrs. Fowler was a homemaker and a member of Mount Zion Baptist Church.
Survivors include a son, Gregg Fowler of Loris; a daughter, Debbie Mincey of Loris; two sisters, Fencie Hodges and Elvie Burnette, both of Loris; and a granddaughter.
Visitation will be from 7-9 tonight at Hardwick Funeral Home of Loris.
The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Mount Zion Baptist Church. Burial will be in Mount Zion Cemetery.
