Charles was born in 1899 in Zavalla, TX. the 14 th. child born to Mary Ann Cryer & John William Barge these children were very close they grew up in Zavalla, Texas there grand Parents were Dr. Colin McIver Barge & Rosanah Young Barge.
Charles was 10 when his mother died what a time of greif they went through but with the help of The Lord they made it through it.
Charles meet and married Bonnie Furr they moved to Macon Mississipi and started a Christian Camp that is still in operation today thanks to Charles's Family.

We had the Honor of Touring this Wonderful Christian Camp that Uncle Charley started in 1941 and its still going today we meet some wonderful young people working there getting ready for summer campers who I am sure will be Blessed on there trips there, thank The Lord that Charley's Family have that same vision to touch young people with the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
