Francis E. "Frank" Niemic, age 87, of Mountain Home, Arkansas, passed away Wednesday, November 30, 2011, at his residence.

He was born March 13, 1924, in Oak Lawn, Illinois, to Lawrence and Anna Sault Niemic. He was a retired railroad yardmaster, a member of St. Peter the Fisherman Catholic Church where he was a Eucharistic Adorer, was a lifetime member of Ozark VFW Post #3246, and a former member of the Elks and Moose Lodges.

Survivors are a stepson: Larry (Natalia) Gucciardo: McKinney, Texas; a stepdaughter: Diana Gucciardo: Mountain Home; grandchildren: Lena and Andrew Gucciardo; and Annetta (Steve) Williams; great-grandchildren: James L. York, Michael A. (Ashley) York, John D. York, and Destiny (Shandy) Erisman; great-great-grandchildren: Arrabella and Adam York; Mason, Penelope and Jackson Erisman. He was preceded in death by his parents; first wife: Loreen Niemic; second wife: Bernadine Niemic; third wife: Dolores Gucciardo Niemic; and a sister: Loretta DeBarry.

Visitation will be from Noon-9:00 P.M. Sunday, December 4, 2011, at Roller Funeral Home with the family receiving friends from 6-8:00 P.M. A Vigil Service will be at 7:00 P.M. Sunday in the Roller Chapel with Deacon Robert Crawford officiating. The Funeral Mass will be 10:00 A.M. Monday at St. Peter the Fisherman Catholic Church with Reverend Christopher Okeke as celebrant.

Interment will be in Baxter Memorial Gardens. Memorials may be made to LaRabida Children's Hospital, Chicago, Illinois.
