Berilla (Berilda) never married.

In 1850, John and Elizabeth are doing well financially and living next door to their eldest child, Nancy Cave, and her family. Son William was next door:

Berilla died sometime probably in 1895 in Los Angeles. Back in Jackson Co., MO, her two sisters Matilda Owsley and Nancy Cave gave up administration of her estate to Nancy's brother-in-law William Cave:

We, the undersigned Matilda Owsley and Nancy Cave, sisters of deceased resident of Jackson Co., MO, and both being widows and now unmarried, hereby renounce our right to act as administrators of deceased and request the Probate Court of said county at Independence or the ? We vacation to issue letters to Wm. Cave, Esquire, of Hicks City, Jackson Co., MO.
