Mamie Rachel Byrd, 84, passed away May 27, 2000 in the Searcy County Nursing Home, Marshall, Arkansas.

She was a homemaker and attended the United Pentecostal Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, George; parents, one son, one daughter, and three grandchildren.

Survivors include three sons, Franklin Byrd of Mound Valley, Kansas, Ernest Byrd of Independence, Kansas and Benny Byrd of Parsons, Kansas; three daughters, Dorothy Speight of Traskwood, Arkansas, Loise Lubbers of Parsons, Kansas, Joyce Smith of Bradford, Arkansas; 23 grandchildren and several great grandchildren.

Funeral services were May 30, 2000 at Roller Coffman Funeral Home with Bro. Don Campbell officiating.

Burial was in the Silver Hill Cemetery by Roller Coffman Funeral Home.

Pallbearers were Tab Jr. Byrd, Justin Byrd, Aqndy Bryd, Ronnie Smith, James Smith, and Steven Smith.

Honorary pallbearers were David Joe Smith, Roger Smith, and Zeb Horton.
