Virginia Louise Frohnapfel Eller, 88, of New Martinsville, died November 25, 2011, at New Martinsville Care and Rehabilitation Center.

She was born July 28, 1923, in Marshall County, a daughter of the late Theodore Joseph and Anna Estep Frohnapfel.

She was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, New Martinsville, a 50+ year member of Women's Auxillary of American Legion Post 28, an avid bowler for 50+ years, and a member of Bruce Lanes Women's Hall of Fame and Little Flower Society of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Thaddeus Eller, and 11 brothers and sisters.

Survivors include three sons, Charles (Arlene) Frohnapfel of New Martinsville, P. Gary (Terri) Eller of Nampa, Idaho, and Frederick (Trish) Eller of New Martinsville; 10 grandchildren, Elisa Vollrath of East Petersburg, Pa., Jody (Gregg) Sutton of Reedsville, WV., Krista (Ty) Sultzbach of Mount Joy, PA., Erika (Rick) Wolf of Mountsville, PA., Laurissa States of Lancaster, PA., Dean (Kim) Frohnapfel of Mountville, PA., Audrey (David) Devine Eller of Highland Park, N.J., Rachel Teannalach of Boise, Idaho, Jeremy Eller of Stanfordville, N.Y., and Bethany (Josh) Underdonk of Morgantown, WV.; 18 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.

Family received friends on November 29 from 2-4 and 6-8 pm at Grisell Funeral Home and Crematory, 751 Third Street, New Martinsville, WV.

Funeral Liturgy with mass was celebrated on November 30 at 11 a.m. at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, 21 Rosary Road, New Martinsville, with Fr. John McDonough as celebrant.
