Mr. Link was born Feb. 21, 1926, in Longview, Wash., and moved in 1937 to Molalla. He graduated from Molalla High School. During World War II, he served in the U.S. Navy. Afterward, he returned to Molalla, where he was a millwright for Avison Lumber from 1960 until retiring in 1988. In 1949, he married Betty Jeane Stow.
Survivors include his wife; daughter, Judith McNeil; sons, Loren and Randolph; seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Interment in Molalla Memorial Cemetery.
