Died 10 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 27, 1993, at the Baton Rouge General Medical Center. He was 71, a native and resident of Baton Rouge. He was a 1939 graduate of Catholic High School and was retired from Exxon Company, USA. He was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II. Visiting at Rabenhorst Funeral Home East, 11000 Florida Blvd., 9 a.m. to 12:40 p.m. Monday. Religious services at Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church at 1 p.m. Monday, conducted by the Rev. Daniel Lemoine, the Rev. Mike Moroney and the Rev. Stephen Hymel. Readers for the Mass will be Bert and Chad Melancon. Burial in Greenoaks Memorial Park. Survived by wife, Sallie Hollingsworth Gaudin, Baton Rouge; three daughters and a son-in-law, Charlotte G. Hardison, Pam Gaudin and M. Lynelle andDamon H. Hebert, all of Baton Rouge; a brother, W. Wayne Gaudin Sr., Baton Rouge; and five grandchildren, Jarrod Hardison, Kiersten Hardison, Brandon Hebert, Derek Hebert and Michael Hebert. Preceded in death by parents, Ulice and Claire Gautreau Gaudin;and a son-in-law, Charles H. Hardison. Pallbearers will be Damon H. Hebert, W. Wayne Gaudin Jr., Wilman Loupe, Aldo Jarreau Jr., Harry Zeringue and Carl Gaudin. He was a member of Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church, Knights of Columbus Council No. 2807, Exxon Annuitant Club Istroumaland Chapter and The Blue Army of Our Lady of Fatima. Memorial donations may be made to the American Diabetes Association Memorials, 9420 Lindale Ave., Baton Rouge, 70815.
