She was born April 5, 1926 in Paris, AR to the late Tom and Maggie Jenkins Marple. She was a member of the Church of Christ, a homemaker and mother, life member of the DAV Women's Auxiliary Post Simpson Post Chapter 27.
She was preceded in death by a son, Robert Foster, step-son, John Cline, step-daughter, Freida Kendrick.
Survivors: husband, Lloyd Cline; three sons, Lonnie Foster, Larry Foster and Don Ford all of Dardanelle; three daughters, Salley Dale of DeQueen, AR, Verla Moyer of Mountainberg, AR and Lawana David of Norman, OK; a step-son, David Cline of Houston, TX; a stepdaughter, Debra Boydston of Houston, TX; two sisters, Ruby Stone of Dardanelle, AR and Mary Cross of Siloam Springs, AR; 26 grandchildren; 27 great grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Service was June 30, 1997 at the Cornwell Chapel in Dardanelle with the Rev. Chenowith officiating. Interment was in the Pisgah Cemetery by Cornwell Funeral Service of Dardanelle.
Pallbearers were Pal D. Gentry, Fred Galloway, Rick Lumpkin, Wolf Toyke, Joe Landsdale and Seven Snider.
