There was no funeral or memorial per Joe’s request, so like him! Joe was a very private, sweetheart of a man, a courageous fire chief, a great husband, father and the best friend one could have! Joe was the guy who had the biggest smile and could jump and click his heels even in his 70s. Joe’s bond with people was astounding, you thought you were the chosen friend. We miss Joe, everyday something reminds me of him, I’m an in law or rather an outlaw, but I bonded with Joe because I think we both have a good kindred heart. I know Joe is with David , his youngest son and now also a grandson joins him, they must be gloriously happy spending eternity on a fishing or hunting trip together. I didn’t know Joe as long as most his family, The Luetkemeyer family just took him in as one of theirs, not an easy feat to accomplish, but I adored him and MaryAnn as well as his kids especially David, my friend. So, although I will miss these 3 everyday I’m just happy they passed my way.....
