Steven Schulhoff was murdered in his apartment. Two people were convicted of first-degree murder. One, a minor at the time, is serving a sentence of 40 years and has an estimated release date of 14 Dec 2039. The other offender is serving a sentence of life in prison without the possibility of parole.

Steven Eugene Schulhoff, 48, passed away Feb. 10, 2004, at his home in Altamonte Springs FL. He was born in Arlington VA on Aug. 14, 1955, son of the late Raymond T. Schulhoff and JoAnn Bartee Schulhoff. He was an avid sports enthusiast, having played on two state football championship teams in Maryland and continued participating in sports by playing in flag football and softball leagues and also enjoyed playing golf. He moved to Orlando FL in 1998 from Laurel MD, where he lived for 30 years. He was employed by the Contractor Yard in Kissimmee FL.

He was preceded in death by his aunt Jannett Bartee Banne and uncles D.L. "Dukes" Bartee and Howard Bartee.

He leaves his brother Michael Schulhoff and wife Renée of Laurel; sister Jennifer Schulhoff of Laurel; stepson Brandon Jamison of Idaho; aunt Patsy Williams of Loch Haven PA; nephew Orion Dukes Schulhoff of Laurel; niece Megan Smith of Laurel; fiancée and "love of his life" Elaine Bouck of Orlando FL; several cousins; and a daughter.
