Mrs Ellen Freemont, 1014 North Monroe street, widow of Edward Freemont, died at 8 30 o'clock Wednesday morning while visiting in Clinton. She was seventy-eight years old m February. Her death was sudden and is believed to have
resulted from a heart attack. Mrs Freemont was born Feb. 18, 1853. She and Edward Freemont were married in Ohio when she was a young woman She was a member of the United Brethren church and the Woman's Relief Corps. She is survived by the following children: Mrs Lena Deetz, Mrs Clara Bloomquist, Mrs R. R Rule, Mrs. C E Beckman and Mrs Preston Wikoff. There are eleven grandchildren and six great grand-children. The body was brougnt to the Dawson & Wikoff funeral home. The funeral will be held at 2 o'clock Friday afternoon at the home of Mrs R. R Rule, 1014
North Monroe street. The burial will be in Woodlawn cemetery,Clinton.
