Frank Sevier Passes Away

Willis Franklin Sevier was born in Pike County, Arkansas on August 17, 1884 and passed away December 21, 1951 in St. Joseph Hospital following a short illness.

He married Miss Delia Harris on December 27, 1911. He was a member of Glenwood Masonic Lodge No. 662. Mr. Sevier had been laboring in this city for the past 37 years.

Funeral services were conducted Sunday in the Freewill Baptist Church by Eld. G. Starnes, pastor and Bro. J. L. Hamilton. Special music was rendered by the choir accompanied by Mrs. E. Jessup at the special request of the family.

Masonic rites were conducted at the grave with Wallace Calloway, of Amity in charge.

Burial was in Glenwood Cemetery in charge of Davis Funeral Home.

Survivors include the widow, Mrs. Delia Sevier, one daughter, Mrs. Marley Cooper of Springfield, Oregon, three sons, Russell of Willows Calif., Marvin of Raceland, La., and Floyd of Glenwood, nine grand children, one half-sister, Mrs. Emma Ruiz of Hot Springs and a host of friends.

Pall bearers were brothers in the Masonic Lodge, Riley Long, A.C. Cavender, Warren Sorrells, Ross Wilhite, J.D. Britt, and E. V. Watt.
