Dale Edward Goodwin, age 88, passed away Saturday, November 19, 2011 at The Village in Indianola.

He was born in Tama, Iowa and he and Marjorie moved to Indianola in 1957. Dale worked as a loss prevention manager for IMT insurance co. for 22 years, retiring in 1988. His memberships include Shrine crippled childrens hospital board, First United Methodist Church, Past president of Warren County Shrine Club, American Legion Post #165, VFW #4123, 50 year member of Warren Lodge # 53, ZA-GA-ZIG Shrine.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, November 22, 2011 at First United Methodist Church in Indianola. The family and friends visitation will begin at 10 a.m. just prior to services at the church. A luncheon will follow at the church before going to Marshalltown for burial in Rose Hill Memorial Gardens cemetery.

Dale is survived by his wife Marjorie of Indianola, Daughters Kathryn (Ben) Brackney of Indianola and Dalene (Roger) Holland of West Des Moines.

Dale was preceded in death by his parents James and Ethel Goodwin and a sister Harriet Lonestead.
