BLACKWELL, KATIE - Age 103, of Knoxville, TN of the Sentertown Community peacefully entered into eternal rest on Monday, May 28, 2012, while at home in the loving care of devoted family. The last of her generation, proceeded in death by 9 brothers and sisters, she is survived by a devoted son and daughter-in-law William and Maria T. Mills; 15 grandchildren; 34 great-grandchildren; 44 great-great-grandchildren; 3 great-great-great grandchildren and a host of loyal and loving cousins, nieces, nephew, and friends. Special thanks for her friends and the Nation Family Caregiver and Senior Companion. A visitation will be held on Friday, June 8, 2012 from 1:00 - 2:00 p.m. with a funeral service beginning at 2:00 p.m. at Miller's Lutheran Church, Millertown Pike, Knoxville, TN with Suffragan Bishop Kelvin M. Cash officiating. Interment will immediately follow in Miller's Lutheran Church Cemetery, Millertown Pike, Knoxville, TN. Highland South Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
