She was identified as "Ada" in most of the records we found and first appears in 1860 Bedford County, TN census living on her Great Grandparents Isaac Muse and Nancy Peery Muse's farm. She was the daughter of Jesse Eagleton Karr Alexander and Sarah "Sallie" Muse. Ada's Grandparents where Orville Muse and Malinda McBee Ross. Her parents eventually moved the family Cannon County, Tennessee where in 1882 she married Jesse Carter son of Joseph Carter and Susannah Carnahan. Of this bond there was only one daughter, Vesper L.
