Charles T. McCoy was born 23 August 1899 in Fishertown, Bedford County, Pennsylvania. The son of Robert Franklin McCoy and Ida Della (Cleaver) McCoy. He married Helen Marie Dietz 29 May 1926 in Bedford County, Pennsylvania. They had one daughter Mary Jane McCoy later to be known as Betty Jane McCoy before his death on 26 Mar 1935.
