Carroll P. Gampfer, 90, of Fort Thomas, died Sunday at his residence. He was a retired meat cutter from McHale's Meats, Fort Wright, and Ebert's Meats, Newport, and a World War II veteran. His wife, Loretta Gampfer, died in 2004. There are no immediate survivors.
Mass of Christian burial will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Holy Spirit Church, Newport. Visitation will be from 8:30 to 9:30 p.m. at Muehlenkamp-Erschell Funeral Home, Fort Thomas. Entombment will be in St. Stephen Cemetery Mausoleum, Fort Thomas.
