Homer G. Dunmyer, 67, Friedens RD 1, died Aug. 19, 1985, in Somerset Community Hospital. Born Feb. 7, 1918, in Black Township, son of Oran and Charlotte (Pletcher) Dunmyer. Preceded in death by parents and brother, Elmer. Survived by his wife, the former Velma Mae Croyle whom he married Sept. 9, 1935; also these children: Raymond, married to the former Susan Barnett, Friedens RD 1; Clifford, married to the former Connie Houpt of Somerset RD 5; Larry, married to the former Sandra Lee Spory of Friedens RD 1; Mrs. Arthur (Donna) Rock of Somerset RD 6; Timothy, married to the former Nancy Friedline of Hooversville RD 1; 16 grandchildren and 13 great- grandchildren. Brother of Ernest, married to the former Marian Shaulis of Somerset RD 1; and Audra Walk of Nanty Glo RD. He was a former coal miner, farmer and Quemahoning Township supervisor for 12 years. Family received friends 7 to 9 p.m. Monday and will receive friends 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Tuesday at Deaner Funeral Home, Stoystown, where services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday with the Rev. J. Wesley Spahn officiating. Interment, Odd Fellow Cemetery, Stoystown.
