ArLlyn Roberts passed away Nov. 15 after a long and courageous battle with cancer. He was born on Nov. 7, 1935 in Cedar View, Utah to Wayne and Rose (Bacon) Roberts. After graduating from Uintah High School he served four years in the Air Force where he was honorably discharged.

One of the most memorable times in his life was working in Australia for two years. He worked in the oilfield for 47 years. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and friend. He was a master craftsman and a very skilled wood worker and carver.

He enjoyed being outdoors, camping and fishing with friends and family. He also enjoyed sitting on his deck watching birds and other animals. He loved spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He will be greatly missed by everyone that knew and loved him. It's impossible to put into a few words what a great man he truly was.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister, a brother and a daughter. He is survived by his wife D'Ann Roberts of Vernal, five children, many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and nieces and nephews. The services were held Nov. 19 at Vernal Christian Church and internment was at Vernal City Cemetery under the direction of Blackburn Vernal Mortuary.
