ROY HUDSON
Roy Rockford Hudson, 73, of Rogers died Monday in St. Mary-Rogers Memorial Hospital. He was born July 31, 1910 in Garfield. He was a retired well driller, and he was a veteran of World War II.
He is survived by his wife, Clarice Bethel Hudson of Rogers; a son Clarence Ogden of Rogers; three daughters, Ella Mae Ogden and Mary Lou Emmet, both of Rogers, and NeVelda Frazier of Phoenix, Ariz.; two step-daughters, Maxine Reed of Hoisington, Kan., and Julie Ann Lawson of Yucipa, Calif.; a sister Jewel Russell of Colorado Springs, Col.; 18 grandchildren and a great-grandchild.
Services will be 10 a.m. Thursday in National Cemetery in Fayetteville with the Rev. Ben Rowell officiating. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Wednesday in Callison-Lough Funeral Home.

As small children Roy and his sister Jewel were found in a bus station in Little Rock, Arkansas, there was a note pinned on him that said his name was Roy Rockford and his date of birth, since Arkansas did not keep birth records at that time there is no way to prove his birth. He was raised by Dave and Ella Keith Ogden. Roy was never adopted by Dave and Ella Ogden, but they did raise him and considered him their son. Roy was married about 8 times one was named Pearl she also divorced him. Corene divorced Roy in 1940, Roy and Corene had a son an daughter. After the divorce from Corene, much later he later married Clarice Bethel Hansen, Clarice had two daughter's when she married Roy. They were from her marriage to Harry O Hansen, he died in 1945. Clarice married Roy in 1954. Roy had changed his name to Roy Hudson and married Clairce Hansen. Roy and Clarice then had two daughters. He died under the name of Hudson."
