He was a lifelong Keytesville resident. On February 1, 1953 he married Roberta Schmidt in Marshall. Mr. Edwards was a lifelong livestock and grain farmer. He was a member of the Keytesville United Methodist Church and a member of Warren Masonic Lodge AF&AM #74 in Keytesville, the Ararat Shrine Temple (A.A.O.N.M.S.) in Kansas City, and he served as chairman of the Brunswick-Dalton Drainage District for 35 years. He was preceded in death by his parents and an infant brother. Funeral services were held at the Keytesville United Methodist Church with the Rev. Neva Reece and Gretchen Williams officiating.
