Ovva W. McGlasson, 87, of Buena Vista, passed away Wednesday Morning, January 27, 1999 at Columbine Manor Nursing Home in Salida, Co. Ovva was born August 18, 1911 in Cooke County Texas to Cass and Lela (Renfro) Reasor. She moved to Oklahoma City in her youth and lived there until 1960 when she and her husband, Vaughn A McGlasson, moved to Hartsel, Co. Vaughn preceded her in death in 1984. Ovva then moved to Sunrise Manor in Buena Vista. She is survived by her son Thomas (Virginia) McGlasson of Redford, Michigan, brother Cass W. Reasor of Pilot Point, Texas step-brother Lewis Cox of Collinsville, Texas, step-sister Lucille Bethel of Dallas, Texas and numerous nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by a step-son Lee McGlasson. Graveside funeral services were held at 11 am February 1, 1999 at Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Buena Vista.
